Learn form John’s over forty years experience as a sculptor and twenty-seven years experience as an art teacher. John is a practicing sculptor who works in a wide range of media including marble, sandstone, wood, bronze, ceramic, metal and found objects. He is a master carver of stone and also is proficient in clay modelling, mould making and casting, construction in wood, welding metals and assemblage of mixed-media. He is a specialist in stone carving having a trade qualification as a restoration stonemason. John’s work is represented in both private and public collections. He is a member of several arts organisations including the National Association of Visual Artists (NAVA).
